Whether you are a student, Black Belt, instructor, or school leader, membership gives you an official relationship with the organization and access to recognition, records, resources, events, and digital services for approved members. You become part of a continuing martial arts legacy committed to preserving tradition, supporting one another, developing future leaders, and moving the art forward — WE ARE ONE.
Approved members receive an official U.M.A.A. relationship, member ID/status record, and access to applicable association services.
Use approved rank-review, certificate, credential, replacement-record, and documentation services according to U.M.A.A. standards.
Maintain approved profile, biography, contact, and public-directory information according to privacy and permission settings.
Eligible members can use school-affiliation, instructor, credential, recognition, and record-review workflows when applicable.
Connect to U.M.A.A.’s National Historical Archive, lineage records, reference materials, and continuing preservation work.
Participate in a multi-style network of martial artists, schools, instructors, education, fellowship, events, mentorship, and public service.
Approved members receive a private digital workspace with enabled services according to permissions.
Submit one official application for membership consideration. Rank, school affiliation, instructor credentials, Registry standing, and organizational office follow their own approval requirements.
